Senior Technical Engineer - M365 Melbourne, VIC $120,000 - $130,000 + Super Permanent Opportunity We are proud to be assisting this Managed and Professional Services organisation, who are leading the way within their sector. This organisation has offices in VIC, NSW and QLD, is growing, and is looking to hire an experienced Technical Engineer who is passionate about Microsoft 365, Azure, and IT Security. This is a highly visible role, acting as a senior escalation point for the team, and largely focused on more complex projects for clients and acting as key advisor for their critical IT environments. What you'll be doing: Client Partnerships: Act as the primary technical lead for a portfolio of clients. Driving onboarding, project ownership, and technical advisory. Escalation Management: Be the go‑to expert for service desk and onsite engineers. Mentoring the team, resolving escalations, and lifting overall capability. Project Delivery: Own and execute cloud migration projects. Scoping, planning, implementing, and providing high‑quality post‑launch support. Crisis Resolution: Engage directly with external vendors to tackle and close major incidents. Knowledge Management: Maintain internal and client‑facing documentation to keep environments transparent, streamlined, and supportable. Operational Excellence: Look for gaps, propose improvements, and help drive the evolution of internal systems and client solutions. Infrastructure Support: Handle a wide range of cloud and hybrid environments with a strong focus on M365 and Azure. Who You Are: A background in a Consulting or Services oriented role, such as with an MSP or Professional Services organisation - or similar. Technically proficient across Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and Azure. Experienced in cloud migration projects (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Azure) from start to finish. Holders of relevant qualifications (Diploma, Degree, or industry certifications). A strong communicator. Clear, concise, and confident across technical and non‑technical audiences. Highly self‑motivated, adaptable, and comfortable taking the initiative when facing new challenges. Disciplined with time management, highly organized, and committed to reliability. Passionate about delivering outstanding customer experiences at every interaction.
