This full-time opportunity offers multi-disciplinary rotations across our site, giving you exposure to various functions and helping you apply your academic knowledge in a practical, fast-paced workplace. Reporting to the Specialist – Occupational Health within the Health & Safety team, your key responsibilities will include: Promoting and adhering to QAL’s health, safety, environmental and community policies and procedures Leading our participatory ergonomics program—conducting ergonomic assessments, identifying effective controls, and documenting outcomes Supporting occupational injury management, including work capacity assessments Contributing to the development and enhancement of the Job Bank and job demands analyses Delivering engaging presentations to employees and contractors across the site What you will bring To be considered for this opportunity, you will ideally bring: A recent or near completed Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy / Physiotherapy, completed within the last 12 months or due for completion by January 2026 A strong personal commitment to safety, both for yourself and those around you Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across all levels of the business A motivated, organised approach to managing workload and priorities Initiative and a growth mindset, with a passion for learning, improvement, and creative problem‑solving The ability to meet deadlines consistently in a dynamic work environment At QAL, we understand that work is just one part of a fulfilling life.
