As our Community Property Team Leader , you’ll play a pivotal role in strategically managing Council’s community property portfolio and hireable facilities – ensuring our spaces are optimised, accessible and deliver lasting value for our residents. Responsibilities Lead a dedicated team responsible for community property, leasing and facility management. Oversee Council’s community land and property portfolio, ensuring fair, transparent and sustainable use aligned with Council’s strategic priorities. Provide expert advice on community leasing, property valuation, and financial and regulatory compliance. Drive innovation, policy development, and continuous improvement across community property operations. Build and maintain strong relationships with community organisations, government agencies and stakeholders to optimise the use and activation of community assets. Contribute to strategic planning and projects that align with Council’s vision for a vibrant, sustainable and inclusive Sutherland Shire.
