Senior Site Reliability Engineer – Brisbane, Australia At NCS Australia, we deliver technology services that empower our clients and communities. We are looking for a talented Senior SRE/Platform Engineer who will design, build, and maintain highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS. Responsibilities Provision and manage AWS resources using IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Automate deployment processes with CI/CD pipelines and configuration management tools. Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure system health and performance. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues promptly and efficiently. Collaborate with development teams to enable seamless integration and deployment of applications. Contribute to the development of best practices and standards for cloud infrastructure. Participate in on‑call rotations and respond to incidents as required. Qualifications Strong experience with AWS services and infrastructure. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java. Knowledge of IaC tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes. Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and the ELK stack. Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible or Puppet. Strong problem‑solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities. Experience with cloud‑native architectures and microservices (preferred). Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards (preferred). Familiarity with chaos engineering and resilience testing (preferred). Hands‑on experience with scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell (preferred). Understanding of networking concepts like load balancing and DNS (preferred). Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer (preferred).
