ABOUT THE ROLE We have an exciting opportunity to join the Creative team at Finisterre on a 6‑month fixed‑term contract. The Creative Operations Assistant supports with the smooth planning, coordination, and delivery of all creative work within Finisterre’s internal creative department. They act as the administrative backbone of the team – supporting briefs through our internal project management tool, communicating with the wider team with necessary updates and supporting our Creative Project Manager to deliver in their role. The role ensures projects run efficiently, stay on budget, and align with brand strategy, while championing clear communication and cross‑functional collaboration across the business. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Creative Studio Support Provide day‑to‑day administrative support to the creative team, assisting with project requests, sourcing materials, and compiling archive content. Manage incoming briefs in the absence of the Creative Project Manager, helping keep projects on track and stakeholders informed of progress. Assist with monitoring project timelines, critical paths, and status updates. Support the smooth running of the studio by coordinating internal resources and ensuring team needs are met efficiently. Administrative & Asset Management Manage and organise creative assets across Digital Asset Management platforms, ensuring teams are notified when assets are ready for review, including inserting correct metadata information. Order samples, products, and other materials required for creative projects. Source and liaise with external talent, such as photographers and content creators, as and when needed for projects. Maintain clear and organised filing of all creative team work, ensuring both physical and digital folders are up‑to‑date and easy to access. Photoshoot Production Support end‑to‑end photoshoot logistics, including location scouting, booking travel, and sourcing accommodation for crew and talent. Prepare, track, and manage all shoot materials, props, samples, and equipment, ensuring everything is ready, returned, stored, and maintained appropriately. Assist on set when required with talent coordination, crew support, and resolving minor issues. Organise the hire of studios and additional production resources as required. Handle administrative tasks such as updating production schedules, coordinating model release forms, usage agreements, codes of conduct, and call sheets. Process post‑shoot invoices, liaising with finance, and maintain budget and expense trackers. Ensure all necessary documentation for permits, customs, and production requirements is completed accurately. WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO FINISTERRE Relevant aspiration and interest in being part of a multi‑channel retail business. Willingness to work hard – creative productions often include long days in the outdoors – this should be where you thrive. A strong digital skillset – we work on Asana for all project management, and although no previous experience on this tool is necessary, you need to be a digital native who can learn quickly on new platforms. Must have a full UK driving licence and the ability and willingness to drive a van (like a Sprinter) in Cornish lanes A strong commitment to learning about the key skills, deliverables and challenges of an internal creative department, and to delivering continuous improvement. Willingness to own and drive your personal development plan, and open to asking for and accepting feedback on performance. Important The successful candidate must, by the start of their employment, have permission to work in the UK. Please note that Finisterre are not licensed to sponsor overseas workers. We are offering a full time, 6‑month fixed term contract, based at our Headquarters at Wheal Kitty, St Agnes, Cornwall. We'll invest in you with a competitive salary, circa £27,000 – £30,000, depending on your skills and experience. But it’s not just a job.
