Intelligence Officer National Heavy Vehicle Regulator NHVR is searching for an experienced Intelligence Officer who will be responsible for assisting with and undertaking data analysis that identifies emerging trends or threats pertaining to the identification of National Heavy Vehicle Regulator’s (NHVR) safety and productivity objectives. Reporting to the Team Leader Intelligence, key responsibilities (but not limited to) include: Implement reliable prioritisation frameworks for strategic information so it can be effectively used in the operational environment. Undertake evidence-based research and analysis, review alternatives in relation to policy deliverables designed to contribute and enhance the NHVR’s intelligence-led risk-based approach. Assist with the determination of the effectiveness and efficiency of program interventions in changing non-compliant behaviour and report as required. Report on the effectiveness of risk profiles and the corresponding and provide continuous information to other internal stakeholders to assist with continuous improvement. Cleanse information from different data sources so it is operationally or strategically functional. Write and review reports, intelligence profiles and briefings in accordance with NHVR standards. Utilise PowerBI reports, Microsoft Office programs, Analysis Notebook and QGIS projects to undertake analysis as required.
