The Cook collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care services that meet the unique needs and challenges faced by seniors in regional and remote areas. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to: prepare and cook meals in accordance with dietary requirements and preferences. maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to food safety standards. collaborate with the care team to create meal plans that promote residents’ health and well-being. manage inventory and order supplies as needed to ensure fresh and high-quality ingredients. provide exceptional service to older persons, ensuring a positive dining experience.
