Our Origination & Advisory (Corporate Finance) business provides the full range of advisory and financing products and services. Our clients include large-cap and mid-cap corporates, financial institutions, governments, government agencies and financial sponsors. That’s why we are committed to providing an environment with your development and wellbeing at its center.You can expect:Competitive salary with superannuation paid over and above fixed pay4 weeks annual leave, plus one week one week additional leave*, one week wellbeing leave* and the option to purchase leave (*subject to eligibility criteria)Salary packaging for car parking, motor vehicles, taxis and superannuationParental leave benefits including 16 weeks paid leave for both primary and secondary carer and Childcare Assistance PaymentA range of benefits including online employee discount program, annual flu vaccinations, discounted private health insurance, employee referral programInsurance cover for life, total disablement and salary continuanceMatched giving and paid volunteer leaveYour key responsibilitiesOrigination and execution of M&A mandates with a focus on Consumer, Retail, Healthcare and General Industrials sectorsDeal team lead responsible for driving day-to-day M&A transaction execution processes including in-depth financial analysis, valuation, due diligence and industry analysisPrimary client point of contact on deals, responsible for overseeing M&A transaction documentation and internal approvalsLead the development of high quality marketing presentations and industry analysis for maximum client impactReviewing and coordinating analysis and work of junior bankersStrong understanding of client needs and market dynamics, supporting generation of new opportunitiesParticipation in marketing meetings including client presentations and pitchesSupport senior banker account coverage with a significant opportunity to develop primary coverage responsibilitiesTrain and mentor juniors (graduates, analysts and associates) to support the development of best-in-class investment banking skill setsCollaborate with colleagues across the business, including other IB sector teams, global colleagues, corporate bank and DCM to drive delivery of Deutsche Bank’s broad global platformYour skills and experienceAt least 6 years track record in origination and execution of Investment Banking (M&A) deals in Consumer, Retail, Healthcare or General Industrials sectorsExperience in private equity transactions (M&A and financing) highly regardedHighly motivated and self-driven with ability to multitaskAbility to take initiative with strong critical thinking skillsStrong written and verbal communication skillsProven track record of training and supporting the development of junior members in teamHow we’ll support youFlexible working to assist you balance your personal prioritiesCoaching and support from experts in your teamA culture of continuous learning to aid progressionA range of flexible benefits that you can tailor to suit your needsTraining and development to help you excel in your careerAbout us and our teamsDeutsche Bank is the leading German bank with strong European roots and a global network.
