The opportunity Head of Finance – Connected Care, Group Functions and Projects is a highly visible and commercial role which will partner with the Executive Leadership team accountable for these functions. Connected Care is a key strategic initiative to develop Bupa’s integrated digital and physical healthcare offer, and is a new commercial finance team. Group Functions includes partnering with Executive MDs for Technology, Data & Digital, People, Legal, Finance, Property, Corporate Affairs, Customer & Strategy, Company Secretary, and the Managing Director. Projects includes the development, assessment and tracking of business cases across the enterprise. This role has 4 direct reports and is based in Melbourne. How will I help? Establish a new Connected Care commercial finance team and implement effective reporting and governance processes. Partner with the Connected Care stakeholders to drive performance to forecasts and Annual Plan, and provide ad‑hoc commercial support. Partner with the Executive leader for each Function and drive performance to Annual Plan and Forecast. Lead the build and delivery of the three‑year strategic plan, rolling forecasts for each Functional executive. Drive cost‑efficiency initiatives to support delivery to full‑year Annual Plan and Forecast Reporting & Insight. Provide commercial finance support for initiatives for Group Functions, including Business Case preparation and strategic initiatives. Build and maintain relationships with executive stakeholders to enhance performance outcomes. Manage the enterprise capital approvals and tracking processes end‑to‑end. What do I need? Degree qualified – Finance or similar. CA / CPA qualified. Extensive experience building and maintaining strong, effective relationships with senior executive stakeholders. Extensive experience in Commercial Finance and / or FP&A. Track record of managing and developing high‑performance teams. Demonstrated track record of driving change and continuous improvement. Knowledge of health care and / or insurance desirable (but not critical).
