Director / Principal Consulting Arborist @TreeSolve Pty Ltd. As a Consulting Arborist, you will play a key part in providing strategic advice and practical solutions to clients on the management and care of their trees. Reporting to the Senior and / or Principal Arborist, this full-time Consulting Arborist role with TreeSolve is based in Adelaide, South Australia. What you'll be doing Conducting tree condition assessments focusing on the health, structure, risk and management requirements of urban trees Preparing detailed tree condition reports and arboricultural impact assessments for residential, commercial and government clients Providing advice to local government planning departments in relation to development applications involving regulated and / or significant trees Undertaking all levels of tree risk assessment from Level 1-3 on individual trees to entire tree populations using basic and advanced diagnostic equipment Advising on tree protection measures during development and construction projects Liaising with clients, stakeholders and government authorities to ensure tree management activities comply with relevant regulations Assisting with the development of internal systems, processes and programs What we're looking for A minimum of an AQF5 qualification in arboriculture A minimum of 5 years' experience working as an arborist, preferably in a similar technical / advisory role A strong practical arboricultural background is also preferable, with tree climbing expertise and / or experience highly desirable Strong botanical knowledge of both native and exotic tree species, their biology / function, growth habits and management requirements Excellent analytical and report writing skills to translate complex information into clear, actionable insights Ability to interpret and apply relevant Australian Standards, regulations and by-laws Experience in project management and collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders A passion for arboriculture, sustainability and the environment Competent in the use of arboricultural software and Windows / Mac computer systems and technology Current driver's licence and willingness to travel to client sites as required What we offer Competitive salary and performance-based bonuses Company vehicle for personal and work use, phone, PC, and all other tools required for day-to-day consulting Ongoing professional development and career progression opportunities Flexible work arrangements and a focus on work-life balance Access to the latest arboricultural tools, equipment and technology Collaborative and supportive team environment About us TreeSolve is a leading boutique consulting firm specialising in arboricultural consultancy and veteran tree management.
