Alexandra District Health (ADH) is the major health service organisation within the Shire of Murrindindi and has a long and proud history in health‑related service provision to the area, providing inpatient and outpatient services including specialist medical services, operating theatre services, radiology, pathology and district nursing. In addition, the hospital delivers community health services including a wide range of allied health and health promotion services. Maintenance Officer – Permanent Part Time Alexandra District Health seeks a motivated person with experience in building maintenance and equipment to join our Facility Management team. The successful applicant will be appointed to a Permanent Part Time position commencing Jan 2026. Responsibilities include: Make a difference in the lives of our patients & staff with a proactive approach to building, equipment & grounds maintenance. Work independently and as part of a team environment. Backfill for the Facility Manager when on leave. Capture various data and generate required maintenance/KPI/DHS reports. What you will need: Experience working in hospital industry (preferred). Trade qualification/background (preferred). A practical common‑sense approach to problem solving. Lead role and backfill extended leave vacancy for Facility Manager. Excellent organisational & time‑management skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Motivated and enthusiastic. Previous staff‑management experience desired. Patient & staff focused. Demonstrated strong customer service ethos and commitment to quality and continuous improvement. Understanding of OH&S.
