Who we’re looking for: You must have tertiary qualifications in Fashion with at least 3 years of industry experience (in a similar role) You have a positive attitude along with a love of fashion and creative flair You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment and have the ability to multi-task You have established pattern making skills and an understanding of how to improve and enhance the fit of each style You’re a true brand ambassador who lives our values: Intentional, Real, Brave, Fun, Agile, and ready to Challenge Convention You have proficient Excel skills As a Garment Technician, your primary responsibility will involve analysing and interpreting technical specifications, sketches, and design concepts to develop comprehensive tech packs and precise garment prototypes. You will be required to attend fit sessions and work closely with the designers, patternmakers and the Design Room Manager to ensure the fit, construction, quality and pricing of each garment meet standards. You will effectively communicate this information to suppliers and ensure thorough follow-up of styles at every stage of garment production. What you’ll do (and love): Collaborate closely with the Design Room Team and offshore suppliers, ensuring clear and ongoing communication. Create detailed fit comments to support the progression of each sample stage, uphold standards in fit, key measures, and workmanship. Investigate and resolve quality issues, working directly with suppliers to provide constructive feedback. Effectively communicate garment specifications, changes and requirements to suppliers in a timely manner ensuring Critical Path timelines are being met. Tools for communication include Excel, Outlook and Illustrator. Employing a solution-oriented approach and to promptly resolve any arising issues within timelines from sample stages through to bulk shipment.
