Business Analyst (Workplace Performance) Location: Parramatta (hybrid Parramatta office and work from home) Employment type: Ongoing Full time Salary: Clerk Grade 7/8, $113,574 pa - $125,720 pa , plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading Your role As a Business Analyst (Workplace Performance) you will support the improvement of workplaces within DCJ office buildings. By applying your skills in analysis and problem solving you will enhance business systems, processes and workflows. You will have the opportunity to facilitate data driven and sustainable change to DCJ workplaces. What You’ll Do As part of the Workplace Performance team within Infrastructure and Assets Division, you will work closely with stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, analyse business processes, and design solutions that make a real difference. Your insights will help us deliver efficient, customer‑focused services across the Department of Communities and Justice (DCJ). You Are Responsible For But Not Limited To Analyse business requirements and translate them into practical solutions. Review and improve systems, processes, and workflows to enhance efficiency and service delivery. Prepare clear, evidence‑based advice, reports, and recommendations for senior leaders. Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless implementation of initiatives. Support continuous improvement and innovation across the organisation. What We’re Looking For Strong analytical and research skills, with the ability to turn data into actionable insights. Experience in business process improvement and stakeholder engagement. Confidence in using technology to drive efficiency and innovation. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across diverse teams. Power BI experience is highly desirable. Previous government experience is not essential—we value transferable skills and fresh perspectives.
