Care Worker Uniting Pacifica Nambucca Heads , Nambucca Heads, New South Wales, Australia Base pay range: $34.59/hr - $34.59/hr Employment type: Part‑time Seniority level: Not Applicable Position Overview You will provide compassionate, person‑centred care to residents living in our aged care facility. Your support enables residents to retain independence and maximise their quality of life in a safe and nurturing environment. Available Shifts Morning – 6:30am to 2:30pm Afternoon – 2:30pm to 10:30pm Occasional night duty – may be required but not mandatory (10:30pm to 6:30am) Key Responsibilities Provide care, companionship and emotional support to residents, helping support their independence and improve their quality of life. Assist with daily living activities such as showering, personal hygiene, dressing, mealtimes and general mobility. Assist with medication and simple wound dressings. Support residents in community‑based recreational and social activities. Qualifications & Experience Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent (Not mandatory). Previous experience in Aged Care or Community Care, or a passion to begin a career in aged care. Adaptable, empathetic, resourceful, and able to live Uniting’s values of compassion, respect, imagination and boldness. Commit to a culturally safe and inclusive work environment. Ability to adapt to changing shifts if required. Strong communication skills, empathy, patience and genuine passion for elderly care.
