Our Resident Carers can work across the 7 days either on the AM, PM and Nighttime shifts. We offer shifts in strength & conditioning physio, 1:1 companion support, memory support, engagement and wellbeing and medication shifts with inhouse training programs and buddy systems. This role based at Tweed Aged Care Home | Northern Rivers NSW & Gold Coast QLD will see you working closely with the nursing, hospitality and resident engagement teams when performing your resident-centric care duties in a timely and compassionate manner surrounded by highly skilled and supportive senior carers and managers. The attached position description outlines specific job duties and accountabilities. About You At Infinite Care we hire for heart, so our best people are highly empathic, instil a strong work ethic and passionate about making a difference to the elderly. Ideally, you have recently graduated with a Diploma of Nursing or are a 2nd year Bachelor of nursing student with your first-year placement completed and the ability to “think on your feet”, communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers alike. In addition, you will also Excellent safety awareness to avoid our residents tripping, falling or hurting themselves - you need to be their extra eyes and ears Very positive teamwork attitude, a trusted co-worker, excellent time management (we are a shift driven workplace including handovers) and follow strict safety procedures at all times to maintain a high standard of workplace safety. A passion for choosing a career where you can make a difference and willingness to help our company deliver quality of care services everyday Great communication skills to engage with our elderly residents in a calm, patient and highly empathic manner that builds trust, companionship and friendship in a warm style. Minimum Certificate III in Individual support or other related healthcare qualifications including Nursing degree or Diploma of nursing levels? Hold the NDIS Workers Screening Clearance as this is essential to work in the Aged Care sector. (*or willingness to obtain) Our care roles are busy Alot of bending, lifting, pushing, pulling and squatting to perform your duties safely.
