Our Resident Carers can work across the 7 days either on the AM, PM and Nighttime shifts. This role based at Tweed Aged Care Home | Northern Rivers NSW & Gold Coast QLD will see you working closely with the nursing, hospitality and resident engagement teams when performing your resident-centric care duties in a timely and compassionate manner surrounded by highly skilled and supportive senior carers and managers. Ideally, you have recently graduated with a Diploma of Nursing or are a 2nd year Bachelor of nursing student with your first-year placement completed and the ability to “think on your feet”, communicate effectively, build rapport, and maintain professional relationships with residents and co-workers alike. In addition, you will also Excellent safety awareness to avoid our residents tripping, falling or hurting themselves - you need to be their extra eyes and ears Very positive teamwork attitude, a trusted co-worker, excellent time management (we are a shift driven workplace including handovers) and follow strict safety procedures at all times to maintain a high standard of workplace safety. Minimum Certificate III in Individual support or other related healthcare qualifications including Nursing degree or Diploma of nursing levels?
