Overview of our role The Delivery Lead - Integration, is a key senior role within Jemena’s Integration & Automation team, guiding the smooth and successful delivery of integration solutions across our Digital project portfolio and BAU work. Lead resource and workforce planning and allocation onto projects, and contractor coordination. Support and uplift a team of external engineers, helping them plan, design, and deliver projects that move our technology strategy forward. In this role, you’ll help shape how we plan, resource, and deliver integration and automation work by partnering closely with project teams and our Principal Engineers. Your focus will be on creating clarity, building strong relationships, and championing high-quality engineering outcomes. You’ll play an important part in: Leading and supporting the team across a mix of meaningful projects, ensuring work is delivered to a high standard. Planning and coordinating resources , working with project managers to understand demand and ensure teams are well-supported. Embedding best-practice engineering, partnering with Principal Engineers to uphold standards and grow capability. Driving continuous improvement across integration platforms, processes, and BAU initiatives. Ensuring operational needs are met, so that project changes land smoothly and sustainably. This role is central to keeping our integration and automation work thoughtful, well-planned, and closely aligned to Jemena’s broader goals. Your leadership will help create a supportive, collaborative environment where high-quality engineering thrives. A little about you Strong strategic planning skills, including resource roadmaps aligned to project needs. Lead resource and workforce planning, and contractor coordination Proven ability to plan and manage contingent engineering resources. Experience leading and resource planning of technical teams to deliver integration solutions across APIs, file transfer, events, and streaming. Solid grounding in quality and security engineering practices (code reviews, version control, automation). Background delivering in complex hybrid environments across on-prem and cloud (AWS/Azure). Empowered driving innovation, capability uplift, and continuous improvement across engineering teams. Qualifications / certifications & Skills Tertiary qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience. Project management certification (preferred). Strong ability to analyse project portfolios and shape integration resource plans. Solid understanding of modern software delivery and engineering practices across the full lifecycle. Self-assured working with cloud-based integration (especially AWS) and hybrid environments. Knowledge of DevOps, automation, CI/CD, and quality engineering practices.Skilled in incident management, problem resolution, and long‑term fix implementation. Able to foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and secure delivery.
