Be the cornerstone of safety culture– full-time opportunity for a WHS Manager We are actively seeking an experienced and passionate WHS Manager to take the lead in driving a culture of safety for one of our clients in the building and construction industry. In this critical role, you will build trusted relationships with stakeholders, champion continuous improvement, lead site audits, deliver engaging safety training, and oversee our safety management system to ensure full compliance with industry legislation. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead and optimise the Safety Management System to ensure best-practice performance. Develop, update, and maintain WHS documentation and client compliance platforms. Deliver comprehensive safety inductions and train staff on hazard and risk management. Ensure full compliance with legal, regulatory, and corporate WHS requirements. Support workers’ compensation, rehabilitation, and coordinate return-to-work programs. Investigate incidents, prepare detailed reports, and implement corrective and preventive actions. Management of ISO accreditations and audits Oversee Essential Safety Measures and evaluate on-site performance. Conduct regular site inspections and audits to verify safe work practices. Lead Toolbox Talks to reinforce safety awareness and operational efficiency. SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Construction White Card Incident Investigation training Cert IV Training and Assessment Proficient in MS Suite and safety databases Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills Excellent organisation, multitasking, and problem-solving skills OHS experience in the building and construction industry (preferred) Tertiary qualifications in OHS and/or Quality Management (desirable) If this sounds like the opportunity for you, please apply below.
