English Teacher - Contract Position Terms 1-3 2026 Join to apply for the English Teacher - Contract Position Terms 1-3 2026 role at St Andrew's Cathedral School The School has an exemplary English program and is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and highly experienced teacher to join our team of committed and professional staff. This is a contract, 1.0 FTE position, Terms 1-3 2026. Qualifications A capacity to inspire secondary age students An excellent understanding of the NESA English curriculum Demonstrated knowledge of recent developments in the theory/practice of senior secondary pedagogy and specifically how this applies to current English courses Outstanding interpersonal skills and the capacity to work as part of a dynamic English team Confidence using technology and willingness to embrace it to enhance learning Commitment to the School’s Christian framework, values and ethos A detailed position description is attached – top RHS of advertisement. Though not essential, experience in teaching International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (MYP) would be an advantage.
