What you'll do As a Trainee Resource Recovery, you’ll work alongside a passionate team, gaining practical experience in all aspects of waste management. From accepting and processing materials, managing the weighbridge, to sorting recyclables and removing contamination, every day brings a new opportunity to learn and grow. You’ll also complete a Certificate III in Waste Management, with all practical training provided on-site under the guidance of experienced mentors. Basic computer literacy, including experience / knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Ability to follow instructions and directions. Willingness to work in an outdoor environment. Being able to demonstrate the physical requirements of the role as detailed in the position description.
