Overview EOI - Business Development Managers at KBR. Expressions of Interest from highly skilled and experienced defence Business Development Managers (BDMs) to support the identification and qualification of opportunities aligned with KBR's strategic plan and goals. This EOI will be used to talent pool for future BDM requirements; suitable applicants will be contacted when a live position arises. Responsibilities Build and maintain market intelligence and identify entry strategies to grow KBR's position with the Department of Defence and other relevant Federal Government Departments. Establish KBR within external networks and collaborate with the ADSS Corporate Affairs team to raise brand awareness among prospective clients, partners, and stakeholders. Maintain relationships with existing clients and develop new contacts, especially in Defence and other relevant Federal Government Departments. Lead and manage pursuits in line with the KBR Business Development Process through Stages 1 and 2, from early shaping activities to handover to a Capture Manager in Stage 3 (Capture Planning). Demonstrate accountability for pursuit outcomes from identification and qualification through to handover and support the remainder of the capture process until contract signature. Establish and qualify a pipeline of opportunities and maintain reporting using Salesforce (KBR's CRM platform). Assist clients to identify and articulate requirements and design outcomes-focused solutions. Support in developing partnerships within the guidelines of the KBR ADSS Strategy, as approved by the Director, to pursue new business opportunities. Essential Tertiary qualifications in technical fields or equivalent experience in Defence or national security operations Extensive and relevant network across Defence, Federal Government, Industry, or Academia Familiarity with Defence, Defence Capability, and Defence Sustainment projects Highly evolved communication skills with the ability to effectively influence stakeholders Values-based leadership with the ability to champion the KBR brand internally and externally Desirable Operational experience with Australian Defence Force capabilities Business development experience in the Defence and national security market Requirements All candidates will be required to hold and maintain an active Baseline Defence Security Clearance. Only candidates holding a Baseline Clearance or above should apply.
