This is a unique opportunity to use your advanced clinical expertise to influence statewide care delivery and strengthen patient outcomes. In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To Provide expert leadership and guidance on end-of-life and palliative care in a virtual care environment. Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders across the VCCC and Clinical Programs to design and implement a best-practice virtual EOLPC model. Contribute to improving care for patients and families through education, consultation, and evidence-based clinical recommendations. Help shape innovative service delivery approaches that support NSW Ambulance staff and enhance patient-centred care. Note: This is a temporary full-time position for a period of up to twelve (12) months with possible extension. About You You thrive in environments where compassionate, evidence-based care guides your practice, and you are committed to elevating palliative and end-of-life care across a dynamic virtual service. You are an experienced clinician who values collaboration, continuous improvement, and supporting others to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. We’re Looking For Someone Who Is a Registered Nurse (NSW) with at least five years of full-time equivalent post-registration experience. Has extensive experience and knowledge in palliative and end-of-life care. Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and consultation skills. Brings strong clinical leadership capability and thrives working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary framework. Shows a commitment to excellence in palliative care and the ability to influence and enhance clinical practice. Has experience in quality improvement and/or research that supports evidence-based change. Enjoys mentoring, teaching, and supporting clinicians to build skills in person- and family-centred palliative care. Is confident using digital systems, with sound computing and word-processing skills. Postgraduate qualifications in palliative care or related fields is highly desirable.
