Community Support Officer UniLodge Canberra, Australian Capital Territory, Australia We are looking for individuals to join our after‑hours operations team on a part‑time basis in Canberra. Resident safety is a top priority for our frontline operations teams. In these newly created roles you will support the wellbeing of residents and manage the building during overnight hours. Key responsibilities include: Monitoring building security and safety; performing perimeter checks and resolving issues or emergencies while on duty. Carrying out administration tasks including maintaining records, processing payments, audit, reporting, etc. Effective incident management during night shift, including grievances and conflict resolution. Act as a support for residents to form a friendly and open point of contact for assistance, information and welfare. Respond to residents’ calls about noise or disturbances within the building and lock‑outs. Attend appropriate training and mandatory staff meetings when required. Our Night Managers (internally known as Community Support Officers) play a key role in fostering a safe, secure and healthy living environment for all students. If you thrive in an after‑hours role and can confidently work on your own, this may be the perfect opportunity for you. You will be required to work if your regular shift falls on a public holiday. Mandatory requirements include: First Aid + CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain) National Police Check (completed within last 3 months) Working with Childrens Check (ACT) Unrestricted work rights in Australia Ability to commit to a 5‑day working roster.
