Opportunity We’re looking for an experienced Traffic Engineer to join our Planning and Mobility (PAM) team in our Sydney office. Our PAM team is a group of professionals with skills covering transport planning, traffic engineering, intelligent transport systems, and transport modelling. We work on high-profile transport projects in Sydney and across Australia, including metro, light rail, high-speed rail, bus rapid transit, ferry, cycling, and pedestrians. Ideal Candidate Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in civil or transportation engineering Experience working with government and private clients in NSW Proficient with local guidelines, including Australian Standards, Traffic Impact Assessment, and Transport Modelling Guidelines Familiarity with transport modelling software, such as Aimsun, VISSIM, and SIDRA Working knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS (preferable) Comfortable presenting to clients and building industry relationships Strong technical report writing skills Ability to manage projects, proposals, and pursuits Responsibilities Identify new business opportunities and deliver projects directly to the client promptly and effectively Prepare high-quality winning proposals and write technical reports Provide technical rigour to studies, including data analysis Mentor junior engineers and distribute work within the team as needed Join our close-knit community of talented individuals who share your passion for making a positive impact.
