This is a Permanent, Monday to Friday role. You will have a primary focus on Hydraulic Mining Shovel / Electric Rope Shovel and Dragline supporting our Rolleston Mine.**What you’ll be doing:**As an Equipment Specialist at Hastings Deering, you will:* Understand the customers weekly, monthly & yearly maintenance & production plans to identify areas of potential improvement.* Provide customers with trusted, relevant Technical Support and a single point of contact to access further Dealer and OEM services as required.* Scheduled inspections to assist customers prevent premature failure and costly downtime.* Deliver accurate reporting of equipment downtime event data into the relevant platform. (AMT).* Ensure accurate component forecast data in AMT is up to date & validate for future shut-down demand / opportunities.* Reporting relevant commercial insights into the Customer Relationship Management tool (CRM) for parts and service demand planning.**What you’ll need*** Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar customer facing role.* A tertiary qualification in Engineering, relevant trade qualification or strongly demonstrated industry-related technical acumen is essential.* Demonstrable experience in establishing and maintaining mutually beneficial customer relationships.* Experience in the mining, mining services or heavy equipment industries* Intermediate parts product knowledge and a strong familiarity with the prime product fleet to be managed.* A sound understanding of Hastings Deering and Caterpillar support systems or similar would be advantageous.#J-18808-Ljbffr
