Account Executive, Small Business – Intercom We’re looking for a high-energy, results-oriented Account Executive to help us grow Intercom’s Small Business segment. About Intercom Intercom is an AI‑powered customer service company that helps businesses provide incredible experiences. Our advanced AI agent, Fin, and the Intercom Customer Service Suite enable always‑on, impeccable support. Opportunity As the SMB Account Executive, you will lead the growth of our new business, building a world‑class sales organization, and delivering value to our customers. Responsibilities Evangelize Intercom to small businesses, driving growth and adoption. Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to close using a consultative approach. Provide accurate forecasts and transparent revenue performance. Articulate value using the Command of the Message framework. Plan pacing each month and quarter. Partner with SEs to win flagship logos and collaborate with R&D and Marketing for customer input. Skills & Qualifications 2+ years in a closing sales role. 1+ year selling SaaS products. Experience with outbound prospecting. Strong sales instincts and a proven track record of hitting/exceeding quota. Exceptional written and verbal communication. Comfortable operating in a fast‑moving organization; able to handle inbound and outbound across multiple industries. Ability to close net new business in a competitive environment.
