ABOUT THE ROLE We’re looking for a hands‑on, energetic Duty Manager who can lead by example and support our venue through busy service periods. You’ll be central to creating an exceptional guest experience, guiding the team, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone who loves being on the floor, enjoys building relationships with the community, and wants to step up in a supportive, growth-focused environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead, motivate, and support the team to deliver consistent, exceptional service Oversee daily operations across bar, bistro, gaming, and TAB Manage opening/closing procedures, cash handling, stock control, and general venue compliance Handle guest enquiries and resolve issues with professionalism Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for guests and staff Demonstrate our core values — engaged, accountable, one team — in everything you do ABOUT YOU 2 years’ experience as a Duty Manager or Senior Supervisor in a fast‑paced venue Confident in running shifts, managing staff, and providing supportive leadership Strong communicator with a guest‑first, team‑focused mindset Able to remain calm and composed under pressure Flexible to work weekends, nights, and public holidays Current NSW RSA/RCG/ARCG (mandatory) Experience with IdealPos and Deputy (advantageous) WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT HERE Supportive, down-to‑earth team culture Career growth across a progressive hospitality group Staff discounts across all venues 24/7 Employee Assistance Program A venue where the community knows your name — and appreciates your work If you're ready to make an impact and grow your leadership career, apply now and join the Glenquarie Tavern team #J-18808-Ljbffr
