5 days working in the Sydney CBD office – Not hybrid Up to $150,000 base + super Exclusive to Allura Partners Allura Partners are delighted to be exclusively partnering with a high-growth Renewable Energy business in their search for a Finance Business Partner to support their projects / development team which partners closely with the CFO and cross-functional teams to drive operational and strategic outcomes. Please note, this position will require 5 days in the Sydney CBD office. A construction or project accounting background will be advantageous. Key Responsibilities Collaborate with senior managers and department heads to influence strategy, budgeting and investment decisions. Challenge and support stakeholders with robust financial analysis and insights to drive performance improvements. Act as the primary finance contact for operational teams, fostering a strong culture of accountability and results. Lead the development of budgets and forecasts. Monitor performance against KPIs and proactively identify risks, opportunities and corrective actions. Provide clear, data-driven recommendations to optimise cost structures. Oversee financial performance of multiple projects from inception to completion, including cash flow forecasting and variance analysis. Leverage expertise in financial systems (e.g., Xero, Procore) to enhance integration, reporting and decision-making efficiency. Drive continuous improvement in financial systems and processes to meet evolving business needs. Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting for leadership and external stakeholders. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies and regulatory requirements. Provide governance and financial risk insights for major business initiatives. Encourage participation and collaboration across the business. Actively participate in meetings and workshops. Key Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. CPA / CA qualification. Minimum 5 years of experience in financial management, project accounting or business partnering (construction or related industries advantageous). Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex financial concepts clearly. Advanced skills in financial systems (Xero, Procore) and strong Excel or BI tool proficiency. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
