EonX is a financial technology company powering the next generation of eWallet, Payments & Loyalty platforms which enable business, consumers and employees to better engage and transact in today's digital world. Role We are experiencing very exciting growth with our B2B strategic partner(s) and seeking ambitious, driven individuals with previous B2B sales experience to sell to SMEs and be part of our ever growing team of BDE's. This is a pure business development role with very strong qualified leads to pursue, so we are looking for someone who thrives on picking up the phone, developing a relationship, networking and closing out new opportunities within a short sales cycle. You will have the chance to present and demonstrate our payments platform, its capabilities and relevant program economics. You’ll play a key role liaising externally with our partners to close new business in your allocated state territory. You will also work closely with our dedicated customer success teams to ensure continued growth and a positive ongoing customer experience once your clients are onboarded. Initially you will work within an existing established partner and be rewarded well for your efforts with Base + Commission + Tools + Allowances. You will be provided with internal training as well as ongoing support from your leader. Key Responsibilities Strategically target / drive new business activity across your state territory Achievement of set KPIs, growth and revenue targets Internal and external key stakeholder management Development of strategic account / territory plans Partnership networking & attending events Pipeline and CRM management Experience Level 5+ years working in sales (both phone-based and in-person) Bachelor’s Degree preferred Requirements & Skills Hunter mentality with growth mindset Driven and engaged to act, strive for improvement, and take pride in results Rigor and courage to persist under pressure Open and trustworthy, empathetic to feedback, building rapport and customer confidence Strong work ethic and a flexible approach Business skills: Small business structures in Australia, Financial Statement & Balance Sheet understanding, Forward planning & strategic thinking, Problem solving & decision-making, Interpersonal skills, Communication & motivation, Organisation & detail oriented Proven track record of achieving sales targets and new business development goals Fluent in Google Suite, Microsoft Suite, and sales CRM (we use Salesforce) Strategic prospecting – lead generation & outbound Closing – consultative selling & negotiating Growing – consultative selling, active listening, relationship building Analytical and data driven with the ability to use data to inform selling Flexibility / Time on Site This role is split between 70% on the phone, 10% on road, and 20% administration and planning. Drivers license and own car are not essential, but preferred. Reports to the Director, Strategic Partnerships (B2B). The role can be based in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane. The position is full time working both from home and office. Salary is negotiable within range based on experience.
