Location: MelbournePosition: Part-Time Are you an experienced mortgage broker looking to leverage your expertise to support others? The ongoing success and expansion of the NLG Broker Academy has created an opportunity for a Broker Support Specialist to assist both experienced and new‑to‑industry brokers across our network. About the Role National Lending Group (NLG) is a rapidly growing boutique aggregator with a strong reputation for broker support and education. You will play a crucial role in helping brokers navigate loan applications, lender policies, and industry best practices. Your primary focus will be providing hands‑on support, troubleshooting complex scenarios, and ensuring brokers have the tools and knowledge needed to succeed. This position is initially part‑time, with the potential to transition to full‑time as demand grows. Key Responsibilities Provide hands‑on loan structuring and application support to brokers. Assist brokers with lender policies, product selection, and compliance requirements. Deliver one‑on‑one and group training sessions on MyCRM software and loan submission processes. Troubleshoot complex loan scenarios and offer practical solutions. Support brokers through the entire loan lifecycle, from application to settlement. Collaborate with the Director of Education and NLG team to enhance broker support initiatives. Qualifications Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management. Minimum four years of experience as an active mortgage broker. Successfully settled at least 50 residential mortgage applications. Experience with commercial lending and asset finance is advantageous but not essential. Ideal Candidate An active mortgage broker who enjoys problem‑solving and supporting others. Strong knowledge of loan structuring, lender policies, and compliance requirements. Excellent communication skills and the ability to provide clear, practical guidance. Capable of managing multiple brokers, loan scenarios, and administrative tasks simultaneously. Passionate about knowledge‑sharing and contributing to broker success.
