The Strategic Communications Manager will lead the implementation of C&K’s internal and external communications strategy, driving impact across our organisation. This role will deliver strategic, high‑quality communications that position C&K as a sector leader in early childhood education and care. Responsibilities Leading C&K’s communications strategy to strengthen our reputation, influence and advocacy impact. Providing strategic communications advice to executives and senior leaders, ensuring clear, consistent and aligned messaging. Overseeing media and public affairs activity, building strong relationships and managing emerging issues. Delivering engaging, high‑quality content across digital, print and corporate channels. Leading and developing a small, high‑performing team to deliver best‑practice communications. Monitoring media, policy and sector developments to identify opportunities and support advocacy priorities. Benefits Flexible working arrangements with 2 days WFH available. Qualifications Degree in communications, journalism, political science or related field, with 5–7 years’ experience in strategic communications, media or public affairs. Proven ability to lead communication strategies, create clear and compelling content, and manage stakeholder and media relationships in complex environments. Strong leadership, planning and organisational skills, with the ability to guide a small team and deliver high‑quality outcomes under pressure.
