Sales Development Representative – Brisbane Location: Brisbane, Australia About the Role We are looking for a Sales Development Representative to work closely with our Senior Business Development Managers (BDMs) to proactively identify and contact new prospects from multiple sources including databases, events, and partnerships. The role is based in Convera’s modern Brisbane office, with flexibility to also work from home. Responsibilities Make outbound calls to identify, qualify, and set appointments for Senior BDMs. Prospect new opportunities using sales enablement tools such as Salesforce.com and ZoomInfo. Achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue and appointment‑setting targets. Collaborate with Senior BDMs, industry leads, and Head of Sales to prospect new and existing contacts. Manage the lead allocation pipeline to the sales team on a daily basis. Use commercial awareness to demonstrate and promote ideal solutions to potential clients. Qualifications Experience in a sales role with a strong record of outbound calling. Industry experience is flexible; preference for financial services, recruitment, media, insurance, telecoms, or NFP sectors. Knowledge of or experience working with B2B payments or FX is highly desirable. Strong organizational skills and effective time management. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and sales tools such as Salesforce. Professional telephone manner. Resilient, motivated, and tenacious with a competitive mindset. Successful incumbents often advance to BDM, Dealing, or Relationship Manager roles.
