Chemist Discount Centre is searching for an experienced Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. This new pharmacy provides a great opportunity for a new team member who is seeking a position with genuine career development prospects in the industry. Qualifications & experience Previous experience in the pharmacy or health care industry is essential, preferably having attained a minimum of S2/S3 certification. The successful applicant will demonstrate experience in providing a high level of customer service, with a sound knowledge of retail operations. Previous experience and knowledge of dispensing systems, including MINFOS and/or FRED software, will be considered highly advantageous. You will have availability to work a rostered weekend shift. Tasks & responsibilities Your role will be focused on providing our customers the best possible care and advice, so you must possess a genuine passion for customer service. You will be adaptable to work across various areas within the pharmacy, including retail operations and dispensing medications. You will be flexible to the business requirements during your shift, successfully following tasks delegated to you by the Manager. You will be motivated to undertake the training required to keep your knowledge and skills at a high standard. You will possess a great work ethic and have a high attention to detail. You will be joining a dynamic team in a busy community pharmacy. Great trading hours - no evening shifts. You will be offered training with a genuine interest in seeing you progress within the pharmacy. Attractive rates are on offer to the successful applicant, dependent on previous experience.
