Trainee Resource Recovery – Council Moss Vale, New South Wales Temporary Full‑time (2 years) – 9‑day fortnight schedule, including every second weekend. About the Role As a Trainee Resource Recovery, you will work alongside a passionate team, gaining practical experience in all aspects of waste management. You will accept and process materials, manage the weighbridge, sort recyclables, and remove contamination. You will also complete a Certificate III in Waste Management while receiving on‐site training from experienced mentors. Responsibilities Accept and process incoming materials and manage the weighbridge. Sort recyclables and remove contamination to meet quality standards. Support day‑to‑day waste management operations. Document activities and maintain accurate records. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications & Experience Enrolled or willing to enrol for a Certificate III in Waste Management. Strong interest in waste management/resource recovery. Basic literacy, numeracy and computer skills (Microsoft Office). Ability to follow instructions and directions. Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Physical ability to perform the required tasks. Willingness to undergo a pre‑employment medical assessment.
