EUC Engineer Company: NEC IT Solutions Australia Pty Ltd (NEC Smart Cities) Location: Darwin, Northern Territory, AU Employment type: Full‑time Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level Job function: Engineering & Information Technology Industry: Telecommunications Job Overview We’re looking for an experienced EUC Engineer to deliver exceptional software support to our users. You’ll leverage enterprise tools, remote access, and phone support to ensure seamless service within agreed SLAs. Responsibilities Provide Tier 1/2 support for PC and software issues in a Windows environment. Troubleshoot and maintain PCs, ensuring smooth operation across Windows 10/11 Enterprise. Perform in‑place upgrades, clean installs, and routine maintenance. Use tools such as Windows Event Viewer, Reliability Monitor, and SetupDiag to diagnose problems. Analyze root causes for recurring software issues. Utilize incident management tools to track and resolve tickets. Offer user support, training, and basic LAN administration. Apply SOE (Standard Operating Environment) principles and concepts. Qualifications Previous Service Desk or Desktop Support experience. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and the Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Experience with desktop/LAN and printer troubleshooting. Ability to perform root‑cause analysis of software issues. Proficiency with incident management tools. Experience in user support, training, or LAN administration.
