Technology Specialist - Orthopaedic & Spine Surgery (NSW) Opportunity to combine technical expertise with purpose-driven work Opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth Inclusive, supportive culture where your ideas matter. We are looking for two ambitious and confident Technology Specialist to play a key role in supporting healthcare professionals with innovative solutions in orthopaedic and spine surgery. Your work will directly contribute to improving patient outcomes and advancing surgical care. Reporting to the State Sales Manager, as a Technology Specialist, you’ll be the go‑to expert for advanced surgical technologies, provide in‑theatre support, deliver technical training, and assist with product demonstrations for advanced orthopaedic and spine surgery solutions. You’ll work closely with surgeons and clinical teams to ensure optimal product use and contribute to new product introductions and educational events. This role combines hands‑on technical work with relationship building and education. Your Responsibilities Deliver technical product demonstrations and training to surgeons and clinical teams. Plan and organise your territory to engage key decision‑makers in hospitals. Assist with new product introductions and educational events. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of orthopaedic technologies and industry trends. Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and internal teams. About You Your background will include: 2-4 years relevant experience in a technical, clinical, or engineering environment. Exposure to healthcare, medical devices, or technology‑driven industries is highly desirable. Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities. Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills. A degree in Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Software Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Physiotherapy preferred. Flexible and dynamic, thriving in a collaborative, flat hierarchy environment. Positive and optimistic, with a proactive approach to challenges. Technology‑oriented and scientifically curious, passionate about innovation and future‑focused solutions. Quick technical learner, eager to develop expertise through training and hands‑on experience. Growth‑driven, with a strong desire for continuous learning and professional development. Interest in coding, robotics, or mechanical projects. Understanding of clinical environment where products/devices/services are used. Additional requirement To be eligible to apply, you must have full working rights in Australia/NZ, a valid Driver’s Licence, the ability to travel nationally and internationally as required and be fully vaccinated against COVID‑19.
