Manager, Enterprise Risk CSIRO Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia Role highlights Lead the design and delivery of CSIRO’s enterprise risk management strategy Partner with senior leaders to strengthen risk culture and informed decision‑making Contribute your risk expertise in this leadership role in CSIRO's Integrity Unit High‑level duties Providing expert advice on contemporary and emerging risk frameworks to enhance the Enterprise Risk Management Framework Leading the development of CSIRO’s organisational risk profile including formal workshops and reporting to the Executive Team and Board Supporting units in the application of the framework and integration of risk into critical business processes and decision‑making Building and maintaining effective relationships with internal stakeholders to promote a risk‑aware culture Leading the development and review of risk assessment processes, controls and documentation, supporting continuous improvement initiatives Role particulars Location: Any CSIRO location – Flexible/hybrid working arrangements available Salary: AU$135k – AU$158k per annum (pro rata for part‑time), plus 15.4% super Tenure: Indefinite, Full‑time Reference: As the successful candidate you will bring Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in risk management or related field Demonstrated experience in enterprise risk management, including development, implementation and continuous improvement of frameworks and processes Proven ability to provide expert advice on contemporary and emerging risk practices, supporting integration of risk into business processes and decision‑making Demonstrated people leadership with ability to empower and develop professional talent, fostering inclusivity and high performance in multidisciplinary groups Ability to work autonomously and provide strategic advice to management, with high independence in decision‑making and action Excellent written and oral communication skills, conveying information clearly and succinctly to individuals and groups Highly developed interpersonal skills, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with diverse stakeholders How to apply Please apply online and submit a cover letter (maximum 2 pages) and CV that demonstrate your motivation and ability to meet the essential requirements of this role.
