Overview Join to apply for the Enterprise Risk Advisor role at CSIRO. Strengthen CSIRO’s enterprise risk management capability and foster a proactive risk culture. Responsibilities Providing expert advice and support to CSIRO units on the identification, assessment, and management of strategic, operational, and emerging risks. Contributing to the development and review of risk assessment processes, controls, and documentation, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Preparing and delivering risk reports, insights, and recommendations to senior management to inform decision-making and enhance organisational resilience. Leading configuration, enhancement, and user training for the GRC platform to meet evolving organisational needs. Monitoring and analysing risk data trends, providing actionable insights to stakeholders and supporting continuous improvement of risk processes. Qualifications Relevant bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience in risk management or related field (e.g., business, governance, compliance). Demonstrated experience in enterprise risk management, including the ability to identify, assess, and manage strategic, operational, and emerging risks in a complex organisation. Strong understanding of GRC systems and processes, with experience in system administration, configuration, and user support/training. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for a range of stakeholders and executive forums. Demonstrated ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and collaborate within teams to achieve shared objectives. Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of building and maintaining strong relationships. Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
