MALTESE-Speaking visitor for lady in TEMPLESTOWE Aged Care MS Plus is funded to provide a volunteer visiting program through the Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme (ACVVS). Our Visitors share stories, go for a walk or have a cuppa, listen to music or play a board game. You would play a vital role in the life of a person living in an aged care home or their own home through ongoing friendship. You need to be warm, caring, reliable and be willing to commit to 1hr fortnightly visits at a minimum (weekly is best) for at least 6 months or longer. Volunteers of all ages and backgrounds are welcome, but must be over 18 years old. MS Plus believes in a person‑to‑person approach and aspires to match you with someone local with shared interests and hobbies.
