Join our busy and professional reception team as a Team Leader. Grow your career across Ramsays well-respected national network The Opportunity Working within our Ramsay Health Plus outpatient department, a multidisciplinary Allied Health Practice located at Hollywood Private Hospital. To excel in this position you should have at least 3 years of experience leading a medical practice. You are a natural leader who enjoys mentoring others, developing staff and promoting a team culture focused on outstanding customer service and professionalism throughout the patient journey. Your exceptional interpersonal skills make you a positive and effective team player thriving in a fast-paced environment where you can showcase your supportive and engaging leadership style. You are well-versed in the legislative requirements for maintaining the integrity and confidentiality of information, proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with medical practice software. You will be required to undertake duties as part of a team working collaboratively and sharing roles and responsibilities, using initiative and drawing on resources within the department managing all necessary clerical requirements of reception services. You will have a strong focus on detail, highly developed relationship skills, a commitment to customer service, a can‑do approach and above all an unwavering commitment to client confidentiality and privacy. You will interpret and advise on policies, systems, manuals and procedures within the department, liaising with other administrative leads across the Ramsay Health Plus network. Reporting to the Practice Manager you will work amongst a friendly and supportive team while maintaining positive relationships and strong communication networks with all staff and customers. Skills and Experience You are a proactive and people‑focused leader with strong communication and customer service skills and a keen eye for detail. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, taking initiative and ensuring seamless operations. Your ability to motivate and support your team will see you succeed in this dynamic leadership role. Essential Criteria Minimum 3 years team leader or office manager experience in a medical receptionist/administration position. Certificate III in Business Administration or similar. Proficient user and understanding of patient management systems (e.g., Genie Nookal). Computer literacy including Microsoft suite of programmes. Excellent time‑management skills and ability to complete tasks within designated timeframes with minimal supervision. Demonstrated problem‑solving skills. Ability to actively liaise with staff and patients to ensure the information process is completed accurately and conducted professionally and efficiently. Demonstrated ability to successfully manage individuals and work groups/rosters for a team. Proficient with medical terminology. Desirable Criteria Previous leadership experience preferably within a health‑care environment. A detailed knowledge of MBS and Medicare requirements. Experience using Meditech or similar patient administration software highly desirable. Remuneration: This is a level 3 position and remuneration will be based on levels of experience and qualification.
