Join to apply for the Ten Tops Junior Member role at Bernardi Group About the Role The Ten Tops assistant's main responsibility is to ensure their section/store is adequately stocked, well merchandised, and presented to maximize sales and provide excellent customer service at all times, including the possible operation of the register if required. In a small team, you will need to be skilled across all areas. Responsibilities include: Maintain a strong culture of safety at all times, including the correct use of carton cutters, ladders, and trolleys. Follow departmental procedures as per the Ten Tops standard. Communicate effectively; ask questions if unsure. Provide efficient and accurate customer service to valued clients. Maintain high standards of merchandising and presentation in your work area. Stock, replenish, and rotate shelves and displays, ensuring rotation is paramount. Keep your work area contained; trolleys, ladders, and boxes should be neat and tidy to prevent trip hazards and ensure smooth customer flow. Immediately clean up all liquid spills and section off the area. Operate and balance the cash register. Maintain a high standard of personal presentation and uniform. Create a happy workplace environment where colleagues enjoy working. Follow instructions from managers at all times. Assist with product selection as required. Perform cleaning duties as needed. Be punctual, reliable, and positive. Is This You? Keen to learn new skills. Good listener and able to take instructions. Enthusiastic about working with a team and engaging with people.
