As we expand our reach, we are looking for an experienced and capable Associate/Director to join our leadership team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing complex client transactions and driving the firm’s growth. We are specifically seeking professionals with hands‑on M&A transaction experience in a consulting or advisory capacity, capable of leading complex deals from origination through to completion. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage client engagements, including M&A, capital raising, and strategic advisory, from start to finish. Take ownership of client relationships, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and driving commercial outcomes. Actively contribute to the firm’s business development by identifying and pursuing new revenue opportunities. Oversee and enhance investment assets and portfolio companies, driving value creation and operational improvements. Conduct in‑depth market, industry, competitor, and company research to inform strategic and financial decisions. Develop and present tailored financial models, key metrics, and valuations to support client transactions. Structure and negotiate complex financial transactions, ensuring alignment with client and firm objectives. Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with investors, financial institutions, and business owners. Lead the preparation and delivery of high‑quality client‑facing materials, including presentations and reports. Manage end‑to‑end execution of investment transactions, including negotiations, structuring, and legal documentation. Provide strategic guidance to management teams overseeing portfolio companies, ensuring financial and operational performance improvements. Develop and implement exit and succession strategies, such as IPOs, trade sales, and management buyouts. Collaborate with key stakeholders, including financiers, accountants, lawyers, and industry experts. Stay ahead of industry trends, proactively identifying opportunities and risks to inform business and investment strategies. Key Requirements Proven track record in corporate advisory or consulting, preferably gained in an investment bank, boutique advisory firm, or specialist M&A consultancy, with extensive exposure to mid‑market M&A transactions. Strong track record in end‑to‑end M&A, capital raising, and/or restructurings and turnarounds. Expertise in financial modelling, strategic advisory, and problem‑solving. Demonstrated ability to manage complex transactions and drive commercial outcomes. Proficiency in IT systems and digital tools to enhance efficiency and insights. Strong business development skills, with the ability to originate and secure new opportunities. Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Deep understanding of corporate structures, financial transactions, and organisational design. Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for driving growth through innovation. Business‑owner mentality with a keen interest in investment. Results‑driven, accountable, hard‑working, proactive, resilient and ethical, going above and beyond for the advancement of client and firm interests. Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple engagements simultaneously. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Commerce, or a related field (MBA preferred).
