(Organisation site )Legislation and Business Services; Office of the Queensland Parliamentary Counsel; Brisbane CBDThe Office of the Queensland Parliamentary Counsel (OQPC) is a statutory office responsible for drafting and publishing Queensland legislation.

As a Legislation Editing and Publishing Officer (Grade 2) you will be part of the team responsible for editing draft legislation, preparing consolidations of Queensland's legislation, and maintaining the content of the Queensland legislation website.In this role you will:• prepare and check standard consolidations of Queensland legislation ready for publication on the Queensland legislation website and assist with the supply of Bills and amendments to Bills to Parliament House and the government printer; and• apply your knowledge of editorial practices and standards, legislative concepts and processes, and Parliamentary and Executive Council procedures in the context of the editing, research and online publication of draft and consolidated legislation; and• provide professional, responsible and accurate advice to the OQPC's stakeholders, including clients and members of the public, seeking information about Queensland legislation and the Queensland legislation website.To apply, please upload to :- Your current resume; and- A statement of no more than 2 pages addressing the core capabilities listed in the role description.Applications will remain current for 12 months.Further information
