Overview The opportunity: Delaware North Australia is hiring a full-time Senior Security Officer to join our team at Mindil Beach Casino Resort in Darwin. As a Senior Security Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing the safety and security of guests, employees, and property, coordinating with the security team to enforce rules and regulations, and responding to incidents or emergencies. Just a few steps away from some of the most beautiful National Parks in Australia where hiking, camping or fishing take on a whole new meaning THE OFFICE - A vibrant casino resort set amid 30 acres of tropical gardens and located right on the beach, just a three minute drive from the CBD THE TEAM - We are focused on growing a team that enjoys each other's company and love creating the best work possible TRAINING - Thanks to the Delaware North global network, we have access to thousands of online courses and resources EXTRA’S - Employees are entitled to a complimentary meal every shift, complimentary parking, and generous discounts on spa treatments, dining and accommodation Responsibilities Assist with the completion of patrols around the casino, hotel, and resort areas Review reports relating to any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences Ensure all tasks are completed in line with Federal and Territory legislation Respond to any first aid calls when required Attend training courses regarding compliance and regulatory enforcement procedures More About You / Qualifications Several years of experience in a security role and demonstrated experience in leading a strong team Ability to respond to emergency situations in a calm and efficient way Ability to work on a rotating roster Security License and Crowd Control License issued by the NT Government First Aid certificate, CPR certificate, Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate, Responsible Service of Gambling certificate, and Casino Operative Licence is required The application period will close on 20/10/2025, unless sufficient qualified candidates are identified sooner.
