Base pay range A$140,000.00/yr - A$180,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from MAYDAY Technology We’re looking for an experienced Head of Technology to join a well-established organisation going through an exciting period of growth and innovation. This is a leadership role where you’ll shape technology strategy, deliver critical transformation projects, and lead a talented team across software development, ICT infrastructure, and cybersecurity. What you’ll be doing: Driving the technology roadmap to support business growth and digital transformation. Leading and mentoring high-performing teams across software and ICT functions, including international operations. Overseeing enterprise-wide projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and aligned to business goals. Implementing and maintaining robust cybersecurity strategies and governance frameworks. Managing relationships with vendors and service providers while ensuring system uptime and operational excellence. Acting as a key link between technology and business stakeholders, ensuring IT adds measurable value. What we’re looking for: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field. 10+ years’ experience in IT leadership across development, infrastructure, or architecture. Proven track record in digital transformation and enterprise system integration. Strong technical knowledge of C#, .NET, SQL, and modern software architecture. Familiarity with Agile, DevOps, and IT service management frameworks (ITIL). Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Solid understanding of cybersecurity and governance best practices. Background in manufacturing, automation, or complex environments. Experience with ERP/CRM systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics). Knowledge of BI, analytics, and modern cloud platforms. Relevant certifications such as ITIL, PRINCE2, PMP, or CISSP.
