Are you an enthusiastic and adaptable Clinical or General Psychologist or Social Worker ready to join our Allied Health Team in both inpatient and outpatient settings? The Darwin region is renowned for its tropical weather, spectacular sunsets, great fishing spots, and laid-back lifestyle come and join our team The successful applicant will work in a multidisciplinary team, providing intake, counselling services, assessment and therapeutic intervention for patients who experience a range of psychiatric and psychological conditions. You must have experience in providing individual therapy, facilitating psychotherapeutic educational groups for inpatients and day patients, and you will participate in group meetings and supervision/review sessions. You will work effectively within a diverse multidisciplinary team, and contribute to the development of innovative programs. Advanced qualifications and expertise in a particular therapeutic model are welcomed. Darwin Private Hospital is the only provider of private hospital services in the Northern Territory. As part of the Healthscope Group of Hospitals, it is a licenced 122 bed hospital providing a broad range of multiday and day surgery including, General Surgery, Orthopaedics, Gynaecology, Ophthalmology, Plastic and Reconstructive, Urology, Gastroenterology and ENT and Cardiac Catheter Laboratory. In February 2021, a purpose built 18 bed inpatient Mental Health & AoD Unit, The Darwin Clinic, opened a new service for patients in the Northern Territory. It also incorporates a dedicated Day Rehabilitation Program. Our world-class private hospital attracts patients from across the greater Northern Territory, Western Australia, remote aboriginal communities and even offshore. We are co-located with Royal Darwin Hospital and partner in delivering specialised care to patients from across the top end of Australia.
