Physiotherapist - Rapid Allied Health Service Requisition No: 6156 Executive Division: Operations Division: Western Health at Home Program: Sub-Acute at Home Enterprise Agreement: Allied Health Professionals (Victorian Public Sect Job Function: Allied Health Professionals Project: Location: Sunshine Hospital Classification: Grade 3 + Superannuation + Salary Packaging About the role: The Grade 3 Physiotherapist will play a pivotal role in delivering clinical expertise to ensure excellence and best practice in patient care. This role is central to supporting high‑quality client outcomes for Western Health at Home patients in the home and community environment through the provision of the Rapid Allied Health (RAH) service. In addition, the Grade 3 Physiotherapist will provide leadership to the RAH team as part of the broader Western Health at Home service. Key responsibilities: Managing a clinical caseload and managing demand across the service Improving service delivery including system and process improvement Providing leadership and support to the Rapid Allied Health staff alongside the Service Manager Developing staff and students including direct supervision and training of Grade 1 and 2 Physiotherapists and Allied Health Assistants Coordination of student placements and tutorials Being the key liaison point for internal and external referral services and community partners Western Health is one of the largest healthcare providers in Victoria, caring for a vibrant, diverse and rapidly growing community of one million people in Melbourne’s western suburbs.
