Volunteer Learning Supporters help EdConnect are dedicated men and women, from all walks of life, who provide friendship, guidance and support to students who need a little help to negotiate some of life's challenges. It also provides opportunities to give back to the community, develop your skills and build new networks and friendships. Compulsory 3‑hour training and long‑term commitment preferred. Activities include assisting with school work, projects, reading, breakfast club, art & craft, sport, or just having a chat. Must have current Working With Children clearance, or be willing for EdConnect to organise.
