About This Job Warners Bay Public School, located in Lake Macquarie North, has a student enrolment of 336 students from Kindergarten to Year 6 including 25 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students. The school has 3 support classes. We promote values of safety, respect, and active learning, and we work closely with our parent community to support all students in achieving success. In addition to the general selection criteria, Proven ability to innovate and inspire a culture of high expectations and continuous improvement aligned to the Plan for Public Education. Demonstrated expertise and leadership in Aboriginal education, with a strong commitment to improving outcomes for Aboriginal students and communities. A visible, resilient, and approachable leader who builds collaborative relationships with students, staff, parents, community members, and external agencies to support student learning and foster a positive school culture. Demonstrated leadership of student wellbeing and inclusive education across the whole cohort of learners including high potential and gifted, diverse learners, and those within the schools supported setting. Notes Classification Structure For Principals The Crown Employees (Teachers in Schools and Related Employees) Salaries and Conditions Award 2020 details the new principal classification structure based on complexity of schools which commenced in 2016. As part of the ongoing application of the new structure a review of thresholds and outcomes will occur on an annual basis. The principal classification for this school is Principal Level P2 for 2025.
