NDIS - Disability Support Worker Part-time & Casual Join to apply for the NDIS - Disability Support Worker Part-time & Casual role at Allambi Care. About The Role The Support Worker plays a vital role in fostering a safe, friendly, and supportive environment for individuals living with disabilities, children, and young people in the care of Allambi Care. Through tailored person-centred active support, this role empowers participants and young people, including those with complex needs, to develop daily living skills, engage in community activities, and build their capacity for greater independence and inclusivity, ultimately helping them achieve their goals. Your Daily Tasks Building a relationship with the people you are caring for. Providing around the clock care to participants, following a structured routine developed specifically for their needs, including personal care. Administering medication. Transporting the people in our care to and from school, day programmes and appointments. Assisting in the implementation of programmes designed for the development of the client. Report writing. Rates for this role commence at SCHADS Level 2 Paypoint 1. About You Current Working with Children Check (for paid employment - can be obtained via Current NDIS Worker Check (can be obtained via Current First Aid Certificate (Provide First Aid; Course Code HLTAID011). National Police Check (this must be obtained via A current driver’s licence (minimum of a P2). A vehicle that can transport upwards of 4 people. Comprehensive Car Insurance. Certificate of Completion: NDIS Worker Orientation Module (can be accessed via: Ability to work a 7-day shift work roster. Willingness to participate in pre-employment medical checks. Two professional references. Qualifications Desirable Certificate 4 Disability, or Disability Support or equivalent. Certificate 3 Individual Support. Certificate 3 Aged Care.
