As an Assistant Accountant , you will support the finance team and gain exposure to a wide range of accounting processes across the business. Your work will directly support financial accuracy, operational efficiency and the ongoing growth of our national organisation. Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable. Raise timely and accurate client invoices. Complete balance sheet reconciliations. Provide payroll back‑up support as required. Follow up on outstanding debtors. Support month‑end tasks and reporting processes. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure effective financial operations across the business. Experience: 3+ years in a finance team. Technical skills: Strong MS Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software (MYOB experience a plus). Attributes: Detail‑oriented, organised, able to manage multiple priorities effectively. Bonus: Payroll experience or exposure to professional services environments will be highly regarded.
